Consultation (Free Meet & Greet)
A free virtual consultation with our clinician is available one time only to new clients. This is a short meet & greet session to ask any questions you may have about counselling or the clinician, chat a bit about what you are looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit on both sides. If the clinician believes it is a good fit by the end of the consult, they can help you book an intake appointment.
YOUTH COUNSELLING (ages 14-18)
Counselling services are provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Difference clinicians work with different age ranges - please pay close attention to this when booking.
[Please Note: The vast majority of extended benefits plans cover some or all costs associated with individual counselling sessions provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). If you intend to cover the cost of sessions under a group plan, please check with your employer to ensure the coverage criteria includes RCCs. If you plan does not cover RCCs but does cover Psychologists, Social Workers, and/or Counsellors with other designations, you can make a request to your employer through the Human Resources Department to adjust the plan to include RCC designation. Many employers are not aware that making this change is easy and can be done at no extra cost to them. Receipts are issued via email and may be used for health plan reimbursement or as a medical expense toward your personal income tax.]

Clinical Supervision is a supportive and educational interaction intended to continually augment the clinical practice of the Supervisee in delivering competent and ethically appropriate counselling services to their clients. The process may include, but is not limited to, reviewing cases, observing sessions, engaging in role plays, and discussing methods, modalities, and skills. The Supervisor will be utilizing a Process Model of supervision as a lens through which to provide feedback. This model entails exploring the client and how they are presenting, the intervention in terms of techniques and strategies, the therapeutic relationship, the reactions of the Supervisee, the supervisory relationship (parallel process), the reactions of the supervisor, and wider contextual issues (ie. system or organizational). Through this process, the tasks of Clinical Supervision are to enhance counselling skills, case conceptualization, awareness of professional role and emotional state, insight, and judgement.
